All about 25th. Colchester Guides.

Our unit was founded in 1979 and we have been meeting in St. Matthew's Church every term-time Monday evening since.

This is a very stable guide company, there have only been 2 unit leaders since it started, and we regularly have between 24-36 guides in attendance.

The 25th. are in Welshwood District, Colchester North Division, Essex North East County and
Anglia Guiding Region.

We have never missed having a summer camp of some sort or other, both near and far and we regularly attend the Essex, Norjam and Camjam Jamborees. We use the Tolmers activity week once every four years.

The current unit leader, Sue, celebrated 25 years in charge in 2010 and created a Challenge Badge to celebrate this achievement. You'll also find details of the 'London 2012 Diamonds Challenge' there as well.  She will shortly be celebrating her 40 years as a guider so watch this space for a New 'Ruby' Challenge.
